a plea for help

It is not going well.  If you are willing to sacrifice a small rodent or maybe a sheep or a goat to the Gods of Getting Through the End of the Semester, I would be ever grateful.

  1. with apologies to Terry's goats, who are adorable by the way, check out the goatcam.

  3. I don't have any goats, but I'm sure I could get a bead on a squirrel. Would that do? Oh, and some FGBVs as well. Tons.

  4. a squirrel would be awesome, and the FGBVs are much appreciated. I ended up e-mailing the professor about 9 p.m. and he gave me an extension until Saturday. Which is great under the circumstances except that I very much wanted to be DONE by lunchtime on Friday. But at least I don't have to stay up all night to night, so I'm off to bed.

  5. Oh I felt terrible because I hadn't made it here to send you End of the Term/Semester/Whatever vibes, but then I see that you got your extension, so you were able to sleep.
Alright, ready? Here's your affirmation, custom made, from me to you.

My writing and studies are flowing easily, effortlessly, and with perfect comfort now. I am able to get all of my assignments completed well before they are due because me mind is focused, clear, and fully prepared for all that it needs to concentrate on.

(I like to end mine with "so mote it be, amen, and thank you." Plus light a candle, just for the insurance purposes.)

  6. I'm sure Kady would be happy to go out and sacrifice a deer. Although I'd have to add the intentions to it as she seems to be a wee bit single-minded in her intensity!

FGBVs that all writing flows smoothly and effortlessly today and the paper is finished sooner than you think!

  7. wow, Julie, 5 a.m.? I hope you were doing something fun, that seems a little late even for you. Thank you very much for the affirmation-- I will try it, with a candle and maybe smudging and whatever else I can think of.

@karen-- thanks! I think Kady and Jazz must have quite a bit in common!
