business as usual
You know how at the end of every semester I write a post about how panicked I am and I'm never going to get my paper written and it's the worst paper that has ever been in the history of the world? yeah, that post. Insert it here. If you pray, or do white light or vibes or fgbvs or whatever, send some my way because this is a mess. And it's due in about 36 hours.

I'm singing a song for you. It's This Too Shall Pass by OKGo. You're better off imagining them singing it cause I have a terrible voice, but I mean well.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that song! thanks for reminding me of it!
DeleteDid I miss the chance to shower you with postive energy? I hope not, because stand by, incomiiiiing.............
ReplyDeleteLove, light, faith, trust, healing, and glowy goodness. Direct from me to you.
no, you're exactly, precisely on time. at least I'm on the downward slope now. I think.
DeleteWhat Julie said. Because now the shit is cleaned up I can raise my head and look around me to see what everyone else is doing. You know you'll write an excellent paper!! or I know it and you'll know it soon!
ReplyDeletewell, for better or for worse, the professor gave me an extension until tomorrow (I didn't ask, he offered). So I'm still working on the dang thing. But the end is finally in sight, which I couldn't say even eight hours ago. I'll still be working on it until lunchtime tomorrow, though. Then, I will peel what is left of me off the ceiling of my study carrel and be done with this semester.
Deletethis probably isn't worth its own post, so I'll just say here that I finally did finish the paper. It's not a very good one in terms of my use of theory (which was part of the assignment), but still I thought it turned out OK. And it did end up being 20 pages long-- sometimes I have trouble getting them long enough. and it is DONE. that's the main thing. Now back to working on my thesis, but that will stretch on through the summer, so not to stressful. yet.
ReplyDeletesorry i missed this! hope it made the grade, so to speak
